Intra-stream Synch

Intra-stream synchronisation is a base part of the H.261 and MPEG coding systems. H.221 and MPEG systems, specify an encapsulation of multiple streams, but also how to carry timing information in the stream. In the Internet, the RTP media specific timestamp provides a general purpose way of carrying out the same function.
