Projects

• Homework: The research challenge for the Homework Project is to take a radical approach to future networking in the home by considering the needs of the user. By studying the use of computer networks in the home, it is intended to create the next generation of domestic infrastructure that combines empirical understanding of use with a fundamental re-invention of the protocols, models and architectures of the domestic setting. The challenge is to develop techniques and tools that inform users of the implications of network changes in terms that they readily understand, aiming to develop an infrastructure that can configure and repair itself.
• DOENET: The project that I am currently involved as part of my studies at the computer laboratory.
• NERD:A project developed as part of my MSc project in collaboration with Ian Napier, Ramiro Herrera and Nicolas Agathangelou. We tried to develop an application that could passively monitor a small office network and infer misconfigurations on the network. The project is currently in a pre Alpha version and we are looking for ideas to restart development. FOr a better presentation of the project you can review my MSc thesis on the Short Bio Section.
• CDN: A project under development in the university of Piraeus. The scope of the project is to develop an open source platform for the distribution of iptv. Currently the project is under development. My contribution to the project was the hacking of videolan client in order to cover the needs of the project.
