Christian Richardt

I am a recent PhD graduate of the Rainbow Group, supervised by Neil Dodgson.
I am looking for a postdoc from October 2012 — my CV.
My research investigates the full life cycle of videos with depth (RGBZ videos): from their acquisition, via filtering and processing, to stereoscopic display. More broadly, I am interested in many areas of computer graphics and computer vision, in particular stereoscopic 3D imagery, human visual perception and viewing comfort, high dynamic range imaging, image-based rendering and structure-from-motion.
Teaching
I am supervising the following courses in 2011–2012:
- Part Ib: Computer Graphics & Image Processing (Lent 2012)
- Part II: Computer Vision (Lent 2012)
I have supervised the following Master’s project:
as well as these final-year Bachelor projects:
- Panorama Viewfinding (Aloysius Han)
- Converting anaglyph 3D to stereoscopic 3D (James Neve)
- Streaming videos of solar imaging data (Ludwig Schmidt)
- Interactively guided structure-from-motion (Malte Schwarzkopf)
- Automatic people removal from photographs (Leszek Świrski)
- Lecture Voting System (Mark Wheeler)
- A GPU-enabled real-time video processing library (Rubin Xu)
- GPU motion estimation for H.264 (unfinished)
