Profile

I am a first year PhD student at the Computer Lab and member of the Mobile Systems group led by Dr. Cecilia Mascolo. I am also a member of the FRESNEL project.

Research Interests and Projects

I am interested on how Geosocial Networks, such as foursquare, could be used as a sustainable source of data for mobile or web applications. Feature based representations of entities such as geographical areas or users in those systems could be a first step towards this direction. Also, I would like to help answering questions such as what activities should be recommended to a person at a given point in time and space? Although, that is pretty hard.
