This directory contains 3 files:

- classes2.txt

A list of 163 subcategorization frames 

- new-alternations.txt

A list of new alternations (ones mostly not found in Levin) described
using the frames and their codes in the classes2.txt document

- newclasses-2004.txt

A list of novel verb classes (ones mostly not found in Levin or not covered
comprehensively by Levin) described using the frames and their codes in the 
classes2.txt document. This file should be read jointly with 
new-alternations.txt document (easier said than done, but the files will soon 
be intergrated into a single database which will be easier to read and
understand). 

These three resources are described in the paper "Extended Lexical-Semantic
Classification for English Verbs" -- available at www.cl.cam.ac.uk/users/alk23).
