SECURITY SEMINAR SERIES
Abstract: Voting is a peculiar security problem, with seemingly contradictory requirements of anonymity and verifiability. One important tool in the fulfilment of these requirements is the verifiable mixnet. This talk reviews the high-level challenges of election protocols, the specific trend of verifiable mixnets used in these protocols, and the current challenges that we are trying to address, particularly with respect to the rapid delivery of verified elections results. |
