SECURITY SEMINAR SERIES
Abstract: In recent years, loss of valuable information has been due to surprisingly low tech attacks. By the cleaning lady, I mean some person or entity that you believe could not possibly be part of your security or cryptographic system. I leave it to the reader to identify his or her own cleaning ladies in the remainder of this talk and in real life. It is my understanding that all major countries employ cleaning ladies in this capacity. Would the listener please think hard about 'trusted third parties' and 'woman in the middle' attacks. |
