How to Reset a Directed Perception PTU-D46

When a PTU-D46 fails to respond to any commands sent to it via the serial port, it can be reset as follows:

With the unit powered up and attached to a terminal enter the command:

"   _0 u0 DS R "

(the white space is important). The unit should then reset.
