Cantag Tag Terminology

Definitions of the terms used to describe various aspects of fiducial tracking in Cantag:

Cell: a single pictorial symbol used on a fiducial to represent a single bit.

Tag, Marker, Fiducial: A fiducial marker. Used interchangeably.

Payload: The information carried by a marker.

NPCF: A normalised frame of reference where the image is completely defined by -1.0 to 1.0 in x and y.
