The CSK Energy project started in December 2008 with hardware/software development. The trials in 25 residential households and areas of the William Gates Building (CL) ran from May 2009 until September 2010. The results have been published in a leading conference, and the software and hardware produced released under open-source licenses:

• Focus: residential households, non-residential buildings and ICT server rooms.

• Network (open standards)
  • IPv6 for low power sensor nodes 802.15.4 (IETF 6lowpan)
  • IPv4 in gateways (FriendlyARM running Android)
  • WSN meshed networking communication

  • Tailored for multiple clamp sensors (3 at the moment).
  • We focused on households, large buildings circuit breakers (current up to 250Amp), and ICT server rooms.
  • This software is a modification of the open-source software released by the guys at  http://www.openenergymonitor.org.
