Directors of Studies Forum

The Directors of Studies Forum is an inter-collegiate group which meets four times a year. The purpose of the Forum is to ensure that College Directors of Studies are kept up-to-date with department statistics and teaching/examination plans throughout the academic year.

The first meeting of the academic year focuses on admissions and teaching plans. The January meeting also focuses on admissions, and the winter pool. The April meeting covers examination plans, and in July, the Tripos exam results.

The Teaching Administration Manager is the secretary and the minutes are taken by a member of the Undergraduate Teaching Administration team.

Remit

The Directors of Studies Forum encourages good practice and ideas to be shared between Colleges and gives the Department an overview of undergraduates from the perspective of the colleges.
