International Symposium on Non-Photorealistic Animation and Rendering
5–7 August 2011 in Vancouver, Canada
Co-located with SIGGRAPH 2011
You are invited to participate in NPAR 2011, the ninth symposium on non-photorealistic animation and rendering, which will take place in Vancouver, Canada on 5–7 August 2011, just before SIGGRAPH 2011.
Non-photorealistic animation and rendering (NPAR) refers to techniques for visually communicating ideas and information. Such techniques usually generate imagery which is expressive rather than “photorealistic”. This research deals with both the mechanisms of non-photorealistic rendering techniques as well as the principles of visual communication via such artistic rendering.
