If you are considering a technical career at Microsoft, the Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) programme is for you. Get a head start over the competition and join the growing number of student ambassadors who partner with Microsoft to run hacks, tech talks and other technology focused events on campus. In return they will support you with a range of development opportunities and industry experience, including access to professional courses for free, opportunities for international travel and the opportunity to publish a blog on the developer page. The programme will start in October 2017 and they particularly would like to increase their female student partners. 2018 L'Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science UK and Ireland Fellowship Awards Programme

The Fellowship awards are now open to female early-career researchers working in the field of life and physical sciences, engineering, mathematics and computer science. Five outstanding female early-career scientists will be awared a bursary of £15,000. Applicants should apply online by the deadline of 16 February 2018.

Call for Abstracts: BCS Lovelace Colloquium 2018

All women Undergraduate and Master students of computing are invited to enter one of the poster contests at the BCS Women Lovelace Colloquium. To enter the contest, students need to submit a 250 word abstract on the computing topic of their choice. The deadline for abstract submission is the 23 February 2018.
