Elementary Use of the Unix Teaching Service

Aims


The aims of the course are to introduce the participants, who are not expected to have any previous knowledge of Unix, to the teaching system and to give them enough basic knowledge to equip them to understand further courses and, if needed, to use the teaching system for exercises and dissertation work.


Lectures


The three 2-hour sessions cover various aspects of Unix and Unix utilities. Considerable use is made of live demonstrations.
