Glyphtest tool
--------------

This tiny X client helps to test a family of pixel fonts for
correctness and consistency. This package is available from

  https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/download/glyphtest.tar.gz

Just specify a number of fonts on the command line. The cursor and
page up/down keys do the expected thing, left right move around
faster, with shift even very fast. The surounding H.x can be toggled
with "h".

When you specify a "-" on the command line, glyphtest will read a
repertoire file in the uniset table format from standard input. A
uniset table looks like

  0020 # SPACE
  0021 # EXCLAMATION MARK
  0022 # QUOTATION MARK
  0023 # NUMBER SIGN

The text string will also be displayed.

Application example:

  uniset +TARGET3 table | ./glyphtest - 9x15 10x20

The uniset Perl script for the construction of Unicode subsets is
available on
